Week of Soul 2012 is almost here! From February 13-17, enjoy some soulful entertainment sponsored by University Union’s Committee for Black Cultural Programming (CBCP)
Monday 2/13: Jeff Johnson, BET personality and TV Journalist, speaks on “Unclaimed Legacy. Who will Lead the Next Social Movement?”
Tuesday 2/14: The Sing Off…For Love, Committed and Afro-Blue from NBC’s “The Sing Off” will perform some of your A Capella favorites
Wednesday 2/15: S.E.L.L.O.U.T Comedy Show, debunking stereotypes one laugh at a time, featuring comedians seen on HBO, Comedy Central, BET and MTV
Thursday 2/16: Movie Night, “School Daze”, Spike Lee’s popular drama/musical adaptation of HBCU’s and Greek life
Friday 2/17: Movie, Dinner & Discussion of “The Help”, a screening on the popular yet controversial film with a soul food dinner and discussion to follow. Co-sponsored by the African American Cultural Center and Panhellenic Council
